Fl. rounded; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt or slightly truncate, shouldered at base, vivid yellow, with slight white mucro, spreading, plane, slightly creased, with midrib showing, overlapping half; the inner segments a little inflexed; corona cup-shaped, ribbed, vivid reddish orange, loosely frilled. Mid-season.

Name chosen when a bulb of it was auctioned on a boat in Oregon (presumably at the 2000 World Convention which was in Portland Oregon).
