Fl. rounded, 108mm wide; perianth segments 47mm long, roundish in outline, truncate at apex, scarcely mucronate, white, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower; corona 13mm long, bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellow with green at base and a narrow band of orange at rim, mouth expanded and lightly frilled, with rim notched.

Origin of Name

Rain Forest 3 W-GYO has a lovely colored cup which reminded the hybridizer of the sunlight shining through the Beech Forest.
