Fl. 105 mm wide, rounded; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt or truncate, scarcely mucronate, vivid yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and heavy substance, overlapping half; inner segments more narrowly ovate, more noticeably mucronate, whitish, shouldered at base; corona cylindrical, smooth, vivid orange, with brilliant yellow at base, mouth expanded, flared, with rim rolled and shallowly crenate.
