Fl. star-shaped, 47mm wide; perianth segments 19mm long, lanceolate in outline, acute at apex, deep yellow with slight white mucro, spreading, plane, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, smooth, deep yellow, mouth flared, ribbed and wavy, with rim irregularly notched.
