Fl. 102mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, ovate, blunt, mucronate, yellow, spreading, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 30mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, yellow, with a broad band of reddish orange at rim, mouth straight and frilled, with rim shallowly notched. Strongly scented.
