Fl. rounded, 101mm wide; perianth segments 38mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, white, spreading, concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance; corona orange, with a band of yellow at rim.
Part of the Miller’s “Pirongia Series”. Pirongia is the name of the nearest town where the Millers live. It is also the name of a nearby mountain.
