Fl. 82 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, milk white, tinged yellow at base, strongly reflexed, with margins sometimes notched, smooth, overlapping a quarter to one-third; corona cylindrical, smooth, clear lemon yellow, mouth ribbed and flared, even, rim notched and dentate, flanged. Resembles ‘Perky’ but with the corona more widely flared.

Part of Grant Mitsch’s “Bird Series”. Named for the small sandpiper-like bird which is a year round resident of Oregon.
