Fl. 45mm wide, facing upwards; perianth and other petaloid segments in three or more whorls, pale yellow; the outer whorls broadly ovate, slightly mucronate, spreading, concave, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls less prominently mucronate, successively shorter towards center, folded from midrib, strongly inflexed; yellow orange, with brilliant greenish yellow at base, interspersed among the middle and inner whorls of perianth segments and clustered at center, with margins notched and wavy.
