Fl. 103mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, orange-yellow; the outer two whorls very broad, roundish, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively shorter and more inflexed towards the centre, concave or folded along midrib; corona segments in several whorls, half the length of and interspersed among perianth segments and clustered at centre, frilled, with rim minutely crenate.
