Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, rounded at apex, spreading, plane, with margins minutely incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments square-shouldered at base; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, mouth flared and wavy, with rim crenate and narrowly flanged.
