Fl. forming a double triangle, 90 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt or squarish at apex, and sometimes a little truncate, yellow-orange, with prominent whitish mucro, spreading, concave, with broad midrib showing, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, shouldered at base, a little inflexed, more nearly plane; corona bowl-shaped, narrow, closely ribbed, strong orange, mouth straight, wavy.
