Fl. forming a double triangle, 81mm wide; perianth segments 35mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, spreading, plane, with margins incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping
half; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 17mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth straight and wavy, with rim entire and somewhat narrowly flanged. Late.
