Fl. somewhat rounded, 105 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; corona funnel-shaped, vivid yellow, mouth slightly flared, frilled, with rim flanged. Sweetly scented.
Initially grown in bed at the Jackson Mississippi American Daffodil Society Convention.
