UnknownFls 8-13 per stem, star-shaped, 28-38 mm wide, of poor substance; perianth segments narrowly ovate, prominently mucronate, spreading, overlapping at base only; the inner segments less prominently mucronate, with margins wavy or incurved; corona cup-shaped, with mouth straight and wavy.
According to Heirloom Daffodil Bulbs: “Often the first tazetta to bloom in the new year, this sturdy pass-along plant has narrow, pointed petals that make its clustered blooms look like fistfuls of stars. As Texas bulb expert Thad Howard wrote, it’s “enduring, sweet-scented” and “deserves more respect and popularity.”
