Fl. golden yellow, at right angles to stem or facing down; perianth segments ovate or triangular, narrow, spreading or reflexed or spreading at base and reflexed towards apex, plane or twisted, separated; corona cylindrical, narrow, sometimes constricted at base or mouth or both, flared, closely notched and crenate, or 6-lobed. Size is variable.

Seedlings of N. asturiensis and N. cyclamineus showing clear intermediate characters between the two parents (and including those plants previously known as ‘Minicycla’ or ‘Minicycle’). Awarded plants were seedlings exhibited by F. Herbert Chapman.

Origin of Name

This daffodil name was changed from ‘Minicycle’ to ‘Minicycla Group’ in 2003.
