Fl. forming a double triangle, 109mm wide; perianth segments 40mm long, roundish, mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 33mm long, cup-shaped, smooth, mouth straight and wavy, with rim rolled and crenate.

Part of the Ramsay’s “Matangi Series.” Matangi is the name of the road where the Ramsay’s live. The word Matangi in the Maori language means “breeze”.
