Fl. 93mm wide,  greenish white; perianth segments 40mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, prominently mucronate, spreading, shallowly concave, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 33mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth expanded, ribbed and wavy, with rim entire.

Origin of Name

“Named for registrant’s friend and mentor. Mary Rutledge and her sister Libby Frey mentored the hybridizer in his first decade or so growing daffodils. Mary was the leader of the Adena Daffodil Society in Chillcothe Ohio.  As a seedling , ‘Mary Rudtledge’ won both Rose Ribbon and Bets-in-Show at the CODS show in Columbus, Ohio”
