Fls 3-5 per stem, 50mm wide; perianth segments 21mm long, ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, white, spreading, plane to a little concave, with margins incurved or wavy, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments a little narrower, scarcely mucronate; corona 5mm long, cup-shaped, irregularly ribbed, mouth straight and a little wavy, with rim entire.
Named for a Native American tribe in Arizona, U.S.A., who were renowned as skilled pottery makers.
