Fl. rounded, 110 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, rounded at apex, shouldered at base, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping; corona bowl-shaped, ribbed, clear yellow, mouth expanded, sometimes split and overlapping, frilled, with rim flanged and dentate.
