Fl. star-shaped, 38mm wide; perianth segments 19mm long, lanceolate in outline, acute at apex, deep yellow with prominent white mucro, reflexed, plane or with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments a little narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, angled, deep yellow, mouth ribbed and flared, with rim notched.
