Fl. forming a double triangle, 104mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several closely overlying whorls, 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, white, spreading, plane, with margins incurved, smooth and of very heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner whorls successively shorter, narrower and inflexed towards centre; inner whorl interspersed among corona segments, somewhat concave; corona segments 34mm long, yellow 14B, wavy, lobed and crenate. Early to mid-season. Sunproof. Slightly scented.
