Fls 3 per stem, star-shaped, 65mm wide, facing downwards, luminous yellow; perianth segments ovate, blunt, pale mucro, a little reflexed, concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower, not noticeably mucronate; corona cup-shaped, angled, mouth ribbed, wavy and a little expanded, with rim irregularly lobed and minutely crenate.
