Fl. rounded, 110mm wide; perianth segments 45mm long, very broad, roundish, slightly mucronate, spreading, plane or with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower, shouldered at base; corona 15mm long, bowl-shaped, angled, mouth expanded, irregularly ribbed, frilled, with rim entire.
