Fls 4 per stem, 75mm wide; perianth segments 30mm long, ovate, blunt, pale mucro, opening greenish white, becoming light yellow green, with greenish white at base, spreading, slightly twisted, with margins narrowly incurling, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping one-third; corona 20mm long, cup-shaped, angled, greenish white, mouth flared, wavy and broadly ribbed, with rim entire. Strongly scented.
This daffodil is named after its hybridizer, John Hunter of New Zealand.
