Fl. rounded, 95 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, acute, brilliant greenish yellow, spreading, plane, smooth, overlapping; inner segments slightly narrower; corona funnel-shaped, smooth, orange-yellow, or sometimes darker in tone, with mouth slightly flared and a little frilled, rim slightly flanged and obscurely crenate. Can be orangey in cool, moist seasons.
