Fl. star-shaped, 40mm wide; perianth segments 11mm long, lanceolate, broad, acute, mucronate, white, a little reflexed, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments slightly twisted; corona 13mm long, cylindrical, smooth, white, sometimes with a band of pale yellow at rim, mouth straight, broadly and lightly ribbed, a little wavy, with rim flanged and minutely dentate.
Named in honor of this daffodil’s hybridizer Kate Reade and one of the founding members of the Northern Ireland Daffodil Group.
