Fl. forming a double triangle, 105mm wide; perianth segments 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt,  mucronate, deep yellow, spreading, plane, smooth and  of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower; corona 15mm long, smooth, hot orange-red, mouth straight and even, with rim crenate.
