Fl. star-shaped, 55mm wide, deep golden yellow; perianth segments 22mm long, ovate, blunt, with slight white mucro, somewhat inflexed, plane, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments narrower, uniformly twisted (propeller-like), scarcely mucronate; corona 23mm long, cylindrical, angled, mouth straight and lightly frilled, with rim notched and widely flanged..

Named for Jan and Ans Pennings in celebration of their Golden wedding anniversary.
