Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate, blunt, brilliant greenish yellow, with whitish mucro, slightly reflexed, smooth, somewhat concave, overlapping one-third; the inner segments more narrowly ovate and more nearly spreading; corona split to base, the six segments two-thirds the length of the perianth segments and opposite and closely overlying them, darker in tone, paler at base, with orange at rim, somewhat ribbed, bi-lobed, with the lobes overlapping, frilled; the inner corona segments more strongly ribbed.
