Fls 2-3 per stem; perianth segments broadly ovate, blunt, deep yellow, with slight white mucro, inflexed, with midrib showing, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments narrower; corona bowl-shaped, orange, with mouth wavy. pollen parent questionable.

Origin of Name

Name suggested by V.A. Barker from England who saw it in bloom and bought some of the bulbs for growing cut flowers.
