Fl. 120mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, roundish, very broad, truncate, mucronate, deep golden yellow, spreading, plane or with margins incurling, with midrib showing, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments ovate, shouldered at base; corona 17mm long, funnel-shaped, smooth, deep orange-red, mouth straight, wavy, lightly frilled, shallowly lobed, with rim crenate.
