Fl. star-shaped, 75 mm wide; perianth segments lanceolate, blunt, yellowish white, spreading, twisted, with margins recurved, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments slightly narrower; corona disc-shaped, ribbed, brilliant yellow, with strong yellow-green at base and strong red at rim, frilled, with rim notched. Sweetly scented.
