Fl. star-shaped, 60mm wide, facing slightly upwards, opening light yellow green, becoming greenish white; perianth segments 25mm long, ovate in outline, rounded at apex, mucronate, spreading, slightly twisted, with margins recurved, with midrib showing, membranaceous, touching at the base only; corona 25mm long, cylindrical, ribbed, opening light yellow green at base and pale greenish yellow at apex, becoming greenish white, mouth expanded and lightly frilled, with rim narrowly flanged and dentate.

Synonym: ‘Snow Baby’

‘Ice Baby’ is the adopted name, following its use in a grant from an EU statutory plant registration authority, and replaces the earlier accepted name ‘Snow Baby’ which becomes a synonym (Art. 11.3 of the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants)
