Fl. forming a double triangle, 108mm wide; perianth segments 39mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, mid-yellow, spreading, shallowly concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, scarcely mucronate, shouldered at base; corona 31mm long, cylindrical or somewhat funnel-shaped, broadly ribbed, yellow, slightly darker in tone than perianth segments, mouth straight and wavy, with rim notched and narrowly flanged.
