Fl. 110 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments vivid yellow; the outer whorl very broad in outline, blunt or truncate at apex, mucronate, reflexed, a little concave; inner whorls narrow, irregularly shaped, crumpled, touched with dark yellow, decreasing in size and becoming more contorted towards center; corona segments interspersed, short, smooth, vivid reddish orange, frilled and minutely crenate.
