Fls 9-12 per stem, 42mm wide; perianth segments 16mm long, ovate, acute, prominently mucronate, white, spreading, plane or with margins a little incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments slightly narrower, less prominently mucronate; corona 6mm long, opening cup-shaped, becoming disc-shaped, smooth, brilliant greenish yellow 3B, mouth straight, even and very lightly lobed, with rim entire. Mildly scented.
Named after a favorite children’s pastime.
