Fl. forming a double triangle, 120mm wide; perianth segments 50mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt, scarcely mucronate, yellow, spreading, concave, creased and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, with margins narrowly incurling; corona 16mm long, shallow bowl-shaped, smooth, slightly stronger yellow than perianth segments, with green at base, mouth expanded, wavy and lobed, with rim crenate.
