Fl. 107mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, white, scarcely mucronate, smooth and of heavy substance; the outer whorl 42mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, spreading, plane or with margins incurved; the inner segments shorter and neatly overlying the outer segments; inner whorls narrower, shorter and more strongly inflexed towards the center, with segments at the center folded or crumpled; the corona less than a quarter the length of the inner perianth segments, crumpled, among the inner perianth segments, vivid yellow.
