Fl. 100mm wide, facing slightly upwards; perianth segments 42mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mid-yellow, spreading, concave, with margins incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base; corona 18mm long, cup-shaped, light orange, with yellow at base, mouth straight, ribbed and frilled, with rim flanged and dentate. Strongly scented.
