Fl. star-shaped, 14mm wide, facing upwards; perianth segments 20mm long, lanceolate, acute, vivid yellow 9B, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, separated; the inner segments narrower; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, ribbed, vivid yellow 9A, mouth a little expanded and lightly frilled, with rim flanged and notched.
