Fl. star-shaped, 32mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 20mm long, oblong in outline, acute at apex, strongly reflexed, plane, with margins recurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; corona 20mm long, cylindrical, smooth, mouth broadly flared and lightly frilled, with rim notched.
