Fl. rounded, 100 mm wide; perianth segments very broad, blunt or rounded at apex, slightly mucronate, spreading, concave at apex or with margins incurling, waxy smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments roundish, somewhat truncate, only very slightly mucronate, a little inflexed; corona shallow, ribbed, creamy white, greenish at base, with a broad band of brilliant greenish yellow at rim, mouth widely expanded, split in places and overlapping, closely frilled.
