Comments

‘Pike Lake’ was the only bicolor (W-Y) in this cross of two great all white flowers. ‘Irish Affair’ was used to brighten the colors and improve the perianth.

Origin of Name

Part of Dr. Reed’s “Great Lake Series”. Its name reflects the largest W-Y flower Dr. Reed has bred and for the naval base that his grandfather and father served on. He lived on the Great Lakes Naval Training Center for 9 years too.
