Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in 2-3 whorls, very broadly ovate, flushed orange, deeply overlapping; the outer whorl blunt, prominent white mucro, more or less spreading, a little concave; the inner whorl strongly inflexed, truncate, not noticeably mucronate, deeply concave each side of the midrib; the center whorl incomplete, shorter, irregularly arranged, strongly inflexed; corona segments about the same length as the petaloid segments at center, interspersed, deep orange.
