Fl. 100 mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in about five whorls, broadly ovate, slightly mucronate, pure white, overlapping; the outer whorl more or less spreading, blunt, plane or slightly concave; inner whorls successively slightly shorter, strongly inflexed, deeply concave, margins incurved, appearing to be acute at apex; corona segments much shorter, interspersed, orange-yellow. Slightly scented.
