Fl. 90 mm wide; perianth segments very broadly ovate in outline, rounded at apex, bright yellow, with pale mucro, spreading, slightly concave, smooth and of membranaceous substance, overlapping half; the inner segments narrower, blunt, creased, with margins a little wavy; corona segments forming two whorls of three, closely overlying the perianth segments, two-thirds their length and almost as wide, yellow, touched orange at base and shading to a more or less broad band of orange at rim, smooth, bi-lobed, loosely frilled.
