Fls up to 6 per stem, 57 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, truncate or squarish at apex, prominently mucronate, spreading or a little reflexed, plane or slightly concave, overlapping 1/2 or more; inner segments narrower, usually spreading, sometimes recurved either side of the midrib, margins wavy and incurling; cup is shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, yellowish orange, overlaid with strong orange unevenly frilled, with rim crenate. Scented. There is ‘Poetaz’ in its parentage.
