Fl. 30mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 20mm long, ovate or oblong, blunt, mucronate, midyellow at maturity, paling to white with yellow at base in final stages of flowering, reflexed, plane or with margins a little incurling, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; corona 11mm long, cup-shaped, broadly ribbed, deep lemon yellow, mouth wavy and a little expanded, with rim crenate to notched.
Named after the street urchin in “Les Miserables.”
