Ralph B. White Memorial Medal Award

This plant was awarded the Ralph B. White Memorial Medal as the best new daffodil cultivar exhibited to the Society during the year.

This medal is provided from a fund bequeathed by Ralph Bernard White. It is awarded to the breeder (or if deceased to the principal cultivar stockholder) of the best new daffodil cultivar exhibited at one of the Society's shows in London during the year, and must be 'new' in the sense that its name has not been registered more than 5 years previously.

It may be awarded annually, at the discretion of the Daffodil & Tulip Committee.

Fl. 110mm wide; perianth segments 45mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, opening creamy white, becoming milk-white, spreading, plane or with margins slightly incurved, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments, narrower, shouldered at base; corona 45mm long, cylindrical, angled, deep orange, paling to yellow at base, mouth straight and wavy, with rim entire.
