Fl. star-shaped, 42mm wide, facing downwards, deep golden yellow; perianth segments 17mm long, oblong in outline, blunt at apex, with slight white mucro, spreading to a little reflexed, plane or a little convex, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower; corona 17mm long, cylindrical, mouth narrowly ribbed, with rim widely flanged and deeply notched.
A group characterized by the widely flanged and deeply notched rim creating a ‘fringed’ effect to the corona.
